Message from the RAA President

Natalie Crawford

The critical role that RAND research plays in improving the lives of individuals throughout the world has remained unchanged for 70 years. RAND research and analysis is unraveling the phenomenon of “Truth Decay” to address its consequences. Our researchers are on the ground in Puerto Rico supporting efforts to rebuild after Hurricane Maria. With your support for the Alumni Impact Fund, a research team will help shape the policy narrative on accountability in cyberspace.

We will celebrate RAND’s 70th anniversary at the annual RAA summer reunion in June. We'll honor this milestone in RAND’s history—70 years since RAND became the nonprofit organization that you and your fellow alumni have shaped. I hope you will join us.

The aim of the RAA is to keep you connected to RAND, to the research, and to each other. It gives me great joy to hear from you that we are accomplishing this goal and linking you not only to RAND but to the outside world.

I look forward to celebrating RAND’s long history, and your legacy, with you. I hope to see many of you at the reunion in June.
