Message from the RAA President

Natalie Crawford

As the holiday season quickly approaches, it offers an opportunity to pause, reflect on what’s important, and give thanks. RAND, and our alumni community, are deeply important to me. You have set the tone for this organization. I want to thank you for your contributions and friendship.

The camaraderie and commitment of our alumni is what builds loyalty and fosters longevity. I’m thrilled to share with you in this issue the story of one of the earliest members of our community. She worked at Project RAND as a teenager, during RAND’s Douglas Aircraft days, and before the nonprofit RAND Corporation was established. It’s a testament to her—and to you—that she has remained engaged and connected with RAND.

I hope you feel as lucky as I do to be part of this community. Thank you for all that you do for RAND and for each other.
