Message from the RAA President
I was so hopeful that by now we would have transitioned to the “next normal,” at RAND and in our daily lives. We were hoping to host an in-person RAA Reunion this fall, but we'll need to wait a bit longer. I like to believe that patience while we are still in this period of transition—and positive thinking about what's to come—will eventually be rewarded.
RAND has adapted and pivoted during these challenging times. We might have changed some of the ways we operate, but not why we remain active. Arming decisionmakers with the data to take action and the evidence to improve outcomes remains critical—if not more so now.
Our researchers, staff, and alumni remain united in our service to the greater good. It's one of the reasons why I'm so proud to be part of this resilient RAND family.
I encourage you to remain engaged with RAND, connected to our work, and committed to supporting each other. I'm grateful for your partnership and hope you stay well.
President, RAND Alumni Association
