Alumni Impact Fund: Voting Coming Soon

Thanks to the support and generosity of approximately 134 RAND alumni and friends, nearly $100,000 was raised in 2022 to support the Alumni Impact Fund (AIF). The funding raised during the last AIF campaign, which ended on December 31, will be used to help RAND researchers extend the reach of important RAND research.

The AIF provides the entire RAND family with an opportunity to help further the impact of RAND's research and analysis. The dollars RAND alumni donate to the AIF are pooled to help boost the visibility and influence of completed RAND projects. Recent AIF campaigns have supported projects to counter online extremist activity; to mitigate the national security risks of Truth Decay; to shape the policy narrative on accountability in cyberspace; and to inform effective solutions to stem the opioid epidemic. Together, approximately $1 million has been raised during the past nine AIF campaigns.

Donors to the AIF will have a chance to vote on projects that are candidates to receive Alumni Impact Fund support. A ballot will be sent to AIF campaign supporters in early March, and the winning project will be announced later that month.
