2016 Hill Highlights

Message from the Director

Susan Marquis

As the end of the year approaches, I wanted to share this year's highlights from RAND's Office of Congressional Relations and invite you to use us as a resource in the coming year. In 2016, RAND's experts

  • Conducted briefings on Capitol Hill on topics such as the VA health care system, lessening the risk of refugee radicalization, and relations between the United States and China in cyberspace
  • Provided testimonies before congressional committees about issues like emerging cyber threats, the future of autonomous vehicles, and the state of the fight against Islamic terrorism
  • Hosted interactive workshops for Hill staff on public policy analysis and cybersecurity
  • Published more than 400 reports, available for download on our website.

Our office looks forward to working with yours as you continue to tackle the nation's most pressing challenges in 2017.

Best wishes for a warm holiday season.
