Issues in the 117th Congress
Welcome to the 117th Congress! The nonprofit, nonpartisan RAND Corporation has been a trusted source for congressional staff on both sides of the aisle for decades. Our experts have conducted congressionally mandated assessments, testified, and answered questions for staff on a variety of transportation and infrastructure issues, including airport funding, infrastructure priorities, impacts of emerging technologies, as well as issues associated with transportation resiliency and equity. Below are some examples of recent expertise that address issues likely to confront Congress in this new session.
Keep in mind that our researchers are also available to you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions, would like to speak to a RAND researcher, or would like a copy of a report.
“Truth Decay,” the diminishing role of facts in U.S. public life, poses a grave threat to evidence-based policymaking and to American democracy. RAND continues to study this phenomenon to learn more about its causes, consequences, and potential solutions.
