The Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment-Youth Version (SEI-YV) is a self-assessment of emotional intelligence for youth ages 7 to 18. It can be used by schools, counselors, coaches, and other learning programs.

The score reports benchmark scores against norm sample ("challenge," "below most," "like most youth," and "above most"). Reports also produce one-page profiles about a child's approach to emotional intelligence.

Evidence is based on a large, international sample of youth (N=5,693).
Internal consistency (alpha) coefficients range from 0.63 to 0.78 for each component (Six Seconds, 2015).
