Purpose of the measure

CampusReady improves college and career readiness for students through a self-diagnostic online tool that provides data, reports, recommendations, and links to resources for both students and staff.

Evidence is based on 4,649 high school students from 19 schools across nine states.

Reliability evidence

Cronbach's alpha for subscales ranged from 0.70 to 0.91 (French, 2014).

Evidence based on content
Item content was reviewed by a panel of experts including college professors, teachers, and school administrators (EPIC, 2013).
Evidence based on response processes
Focus groups were convened during instrument pilot to obtain information about item functioning (EPIC, 2013).
Evidence based on internal structure
Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were used to find support for the "four keys" (Lombardi et al., 2013).
Evidence based on relations with other variables
Positive correlations between CampusReady scores and GPA (French, 2014).
