Higher Education Act Reauthorization: Insights from RAND

Higher education is evolving as colleges and universities seek ways to expand access to new student populations, support changing workforce needs, and maintain quality in times of limited resources. RAND has decades of research on postsecondary education, including institution-, system-, and national-level analyses of college readiness, access, and success; paying for and funding higher education; curriculum innovation; and student health and safety.

In light of Congress’ current efforts to reauthorize the Higher Education Act, RAND has collected commentaries from its experts that address several aspects of the nation’s main federal law governing postsecondary education.
