Program
After decades of failed efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, hopes for ending the standoff are dim. But could putting a price on the impasse lead to meaningful policy discussion? Join us to learn about a RAND study that examined the potential net costs and benefits over the next 10 years of five alternatives to the status quo:
- a two-state solution
- coordinated unilateral withdrawal by Israel from most of the West Bank
- uncoordinated unilateral withdrawal by Israel from some of the West Bank
- nonviolent resistance by Palestinians
- a violent Palestinian uprising.
