Chair in Korea Policy Studies
With significant support from the Korea Foundation, RAND has established a Chair in Korea Policy Studies. The Chairholder will undertake research on challenges to East Asian security and prosperity of interest between the Republic of Korea and the United States.
The chair will:
- Establish intellectual leadership and contribute to RAND’s research capabilities in the field of Korean national security and defense
- Mentor younger scholars at RAND in Korean studies
- Build partnerships with research institutes in Korea for the purpose of developing exchange programs, internships, joint research, conferences, teaching and related activities.
