Center for Korean Studies

About Us

The Center for Korean Studies was founded in 2008. Its goal is to facilitate research with Korean scholars on a variety of issues that are related to population aging policies in Korea. South Korea is one of the most rapid aging countries in the world and faces considerable challenges on issues related to work, health care, the family, and retirement incomes.

The Center is housed in RAND Labor and Population. The Center draws on the expertise of staff in Labor and Population as well as on experts from outside RAND and other units inside RAND.
