Seth Jones, Director of the International Security and Defense Policy Center at the RAND Corporation, is testifying on “Afghanistan's Terrorist Resurgence: Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and Beyond” before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs in the United States House of Representatives. In addition to his role at RAND, Jones is an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University's School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He previously served as the representative for the commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations.
Among the issues he will address:

- What is the terrorist and insurgent landscape in Afghanistan and the region?
