RAND Experts Available to Address APEC Summit Meeting Between Presidents Trump and Putin and Strained U.S.-Russia Relations

Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump are scheduled to meet this week in Vietnam at an Asian economic summit.

William Courtney, an adjunct senior fellow at the RAND Corporation in Washington, D.C. and executive director of the RAND Business Leaders Forum, was the former U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, Kazakhstan and the U.S.-Soviet Bilateral Consultative Commission. Courtney can address strained U.S.-Russia relations and the upcoming meeting at the APEC Summit between Presidents Trump and Putin.

Samuel Charap, a senior political scientist at the RAND Corporation in Washington, D.C., can address the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign.
