RAND Expert Available for Interviews at Arctic Frontiers Conference in Norway

Stephanie Pezard, a senior political scientist at the RAND Corporation whose research focuses on Arctic security, will be a speaker at a plenary session, “State of the Arctic,” along with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Ine Eriksen Søreide. Stephen Sackur from the BBC will be the moderator of this plenary session at the Arctic Frontiers Conference in Northern Norway on Monday, January 21, 2019.

Prior to joining RAND, Pezard was a researcher with the Geneva-based Small Arms Survey think-tank. She was also a visiting scholar at the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies at Columbia University, New York and a TAPIR Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations at SAIS/Johns Hopkins University and RAND.
