Terri Tanielian, senior behavioral scientist at the RAND Corporation, will testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform National Security Subcommittee on the mental health and suicide crisis affecting our nation's veterans and active servicemembers.

  • current statistics, causes, exacerbating factors and mitigating circumstances of the suicide crisis
  • prevention efforts of the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the United States Armed Forces
  • prevention efforts of veterans' advocacy organizations, mental health and crisis support groups, and local communities.
