This evidence map provides a broad overview of the existing research evaluating technology in depression care. Computer applications are most common. Almost all applications yield symptom improvement. Further research on these applications is needed.
This report presents information on recent participants of the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe, a quasi-military program for young people lacking a high school diploma, as required by Congress. It also documents program progress in academics, physical fitness, and other areas, as well as progress toward the goals to develop longer-term metrics to measure program effectiveness and to determine how site-level differences influence effectiveness.

The United States should develop a capability to orchestrate all relevant elements of U.S. national power in its "fundamentally political contests" with revisionist, revolutionary, and rogue powers. The authors propose the establishment of an American political warfare capability -- with the authorities and knowledge to synchronize all elements of national power in contests with and without armed conflict -- and a national center on political warfare.
For several years now, in wargames depicting future hypothetical conflicts against the nation's most capable adversaries, programmed U.S. forces repeatedly have failed to achieve their primary operational objectives and suffered heavy losses in doing so. There is an urgency to the need to modernize U.S. military capabilities and operational concepts. This Perspective examines how things got to this point and what can be done about it.
The objectives of the study described in this report are to determine whether the RAND Corporation's federally funded research and development centers can effectively and efficiently use the Person-Event Data Environment (PDE) to support manpower and personnel research sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, assess how using the PDE compares with existing approaches to accessing data, and identify potential improvements to the PDE.
