To provide a focal point for transatlantic collaborative work, RAND — a nonprofit institution that helps improve policy and decisionmaking through research and analysis — has established the RAND Europe Education Initiative (REEI). REEI's purpose is to serve as a bridge between researchers working on education policy analysis and evaluation in the United States and Europe. RAND Education and RAND Europe, two units within RAND, will operate REEI jointly.
