Supplemental Design Papers for the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment

Published 1980

In June 1972, RAND submitted its Preliminary Design for the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment to the Office of Research and Technology, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Reviews of that design by HUD and the Office of Management and Budget raised questions about some of its features. RAND responded with short papers on sample design, measurement issues, distinguishing background from program effects, and integrating findings from the Supply and Demand experiments. Those papers are collected here for permanent reference.
