Weighted Voting

A mathematical analysis of weighted voting, designed to demonstrate the utility of such analysis for political philosophy. On the basis of the analysis, it is found that the mathematical approach demonstrates a complete reversal of judgment on the appropriateness of weighted voting for realizing a given conception of justice. Those whom the advocates of weighted voting claim as beneficiaries of the system appear to suffer most from it, while its supposed victims benefit.
