A description of a multiple-equation model of household locational and tripmaking behavior. The analysis is designed to explore the interrelationships in consumption between housing and transportation. The multiple-equation recursive model used is estimated by applying least-squares multiple regression techniques to data obtained from the 1953 Detroit Area Traffic Study.
