Dame Carol Black Joins RAND Europe Council of Advisors

RAND Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Dame Carol Black DBE, FRCP, FMedSci to its Council of Advisors. She joined the Council at its meeting yesterday in London.
The Council of Advisors supports RAND Europe in its mission to help improve policy and decision making through research and analysis.
Dame Carol, Principal of Newnham College, Cambridge, continues to build on her vast experience gained from top positions in medicine and high-level advisory roles on health and work.
She also devotes time to supporting women to fulfil their greatest potential. She was included in the 2013 BBC Woman’s Hour Power List.
Dame Carol has been involved with RAND Europe research for many years, having presented the Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research annual lecture in 2013 and participated in the 2015 Cambridge Science Festival panel on How Work Can Make You Healthier.
The RAND Europe Council of Advisors is chaired by Michael D. Rich, president and CEO of the RAND Corporation.
