We examine how the UK and German health care systems responded to a major cost-saving innovation: the availability of generic simvastatin, a cholesterol-lowering drug.
From the Cold War days of the Berlin Airlift to the fall of the Wall in 1989, Germany—formerly West and East, and subsequently reunified—has long been an important actor on the world stage.
