In this paper, we assess how changes in depressive symptoms influence physical function over time among those with radiographic knee osteoarthritis.
Depressive symptoms are common in knee osteoarthritis, and may exacerbate pain severity or impact efficacy of analgesics. The aim was to assess whether oral analgesic effectiveness in knee osteoarthritis varies by fluctuations in depressive symptoms.

Our aim was to undertake an economic evaluation of patient direct access to physiotherapy in the UK NHS by comparing the number of patients treated, waiting time, cost and health gain from a direct access pathway versus traditional GP-referral to NHS physiotherapy.
