Biography
Karin Kitchens joined RAND in January 2010 as a Research Assistant in the Washington D.C. office. Karin has a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Tennessee and a Masters in statistics from the University of Tennessee as well. While completing her degree, she was a graduate teaching assistant and taught an introductory statistics course in the business department. At RAND, Karin is working on a wide variety of projects, including studies on measures of effective teaching (value-added modeling), Army modularity, and the federal role in transportation infrastructure.
