Kristin Leuschner is a senior communications analyst at RAND and a professor at Pardee RAND Graduate School. She has more than 20 years' experience in developing effective dissemination strategies and communication materials for a wide variety of audiences, including policymakers, researchers, and the public.

Leuschner has worked in many subject areas at RAND, including public health preparedness, health and health care evaluation, health care reform, military training and leader education, and international affairs. She has provided communications support on many projects that focus on performance measurement, evaluation, and quality improvement, including projects related to national health security, performance-based accountability systems for public services, and the U.S. Army's distributed learning program.

Leuschner developed and teaches a course on effective writing for policy analysis at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles.
