Overview

Kristin Leuschner is a senior communications analyst and faculty member at the Pardee RAND Graduate School (PRGS). She has more than 20 years' experience in developing effective dissemination strategies and communication materials for a wide variety of audiences, including policymakers, researchers, and the public. Kristin has worked in many subject areas at RAND, including public health preparedness, health and health care evaluation, health care reform, military training and leader education, and international affairs. She has provided communications support on many projects that focus on performance measurement, evaluation, and quality improvement, including projects related to national health security, performance-based accountability systems for public services, and the U.S. Army's distributed learning program. She developed and teaches a course on effective writing for policy analysis at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. Leuschner holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles.
