Bringing Together Researchers to Inform Veterans Policy
The Veterans Policy Research Collaborative (VPRC) is an interdisciplinary research community committed to advancing veterans policy research and improving the well-being of veterans. Our goals are to connect researchers who are working on veterans policy research, coordinate and share information on issues of shared interest, and ensure our collective research is informing veterans policy. The VPRC meets monthly to share research updates, learn about current government activities related to veterans policy, and present and discuss proposed, ongoing, and completed veterans policy research.
Our members are drawn from universities and research organizations whose work on veterans is funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs, other government organizations, and foundations supporting veterans. Our members are researchers at the following institutions:
- Chez Veterans Center, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
- Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness, Penn State University
- D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families, Syracuse University
- Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness, University of Texas at Austin
- Military Family Research Institute, Purdue University
- Military REACH, Auburn University
