Artist's Statement

Eyes are the windows to the soul, and this visual experience into my personal minds eye. The colorful, blissful, and trippy, yet enigmatic elements accentuate the vibrancy and uniqueness of my headspace. This is my happy place. Society makes you feel that you have to belong to be happy, and I do not believe that to be true. Everyone is made differently in order to shine in different ways. Some people may find my art weird or crude, but I love it because it is my personal expression, and it makes me happy. COVID-19 impacted us all in lots of different ways. Maybe you've drifted away from your friend group. But everyone should know that inner peace begins from within, and everyone's 'inner piece' is unique. This painting encourages self love, and no matter how strange you are, don't change for anyone.
