Artist's Statement

The story that my art tells about inclusion in my community is that as we are facing hard times with COVID-19, it has bought people of color closer. We started caring more about our health as well as our community. We make sure that we wear masks and make sure others are wearing masks too, so that we are not giving coronavirus to others and we are not getting from others. In my art you can see people from different races and one person forgot to take her mask and the store only allows people wearing mask inside, so another person from a different race is giving that person a mask to make sure safety of everyone and show kindness to allow that person inside the store.
