Artist's Statement

Back in 2019, everything was fine. Eventually, COVID-19 came around, and everyone had to shut down, at that point, I felt like everyone started drifting apart due to them losing their loved ones, now everyone has to take serious precautions: Wearing masks, washing their hands for 20 minute, carrying hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes, etc. In my project, it is a line separating the two years 2019-20 and in the year 2019 everyone could be as close as they wanted to be, but last year things got so bad that we even closed down everything. I used oil pastels, crayons, colored pencils, and watercolor for mine I think it turned out absolutely amazing and I hope you guys like it too and please take covid more seriously.
