Designing and assessing venue security for schools (and in general): The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's)Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) School Assessment (CSA), although intended for schools, provides checklists and assessment tools for useful venue protections that are more broadly applicable (CDC, 2017).
