Joe Eyerman is a senior political scientist in the RAND Washington office. His work focuses on the intersection of innovation, technology, government policy and decision making. He has directed studies on technology assessment and integration, unmanned aircraft applications, countering violent extremism, election studies, evaluation design, field work in extreme conditions, and statistical and survey research. Prior to joining RAND, Eyerman worked at a large federal research contractor where he directed business development, proposals and projects for DHS, NIJ, and NSF. He is the lead or contributing author to 28 publications and 98 professional presentations and numerous technical reports.
