Overview

Joe Eyerman is a senior political scientist in the RAND Corporation's Washington office. His work focuses on the intersection of innovation, technology, government policy and decision making. He has directed studies on technology assessment and integration, 5G security applications, labor trafficking, misinformation, unmanned aircraft applications, countering violent extremism, election studies, evaluation design, field work in extreme conditions, and statistical and survey research. Eyerman's work has included directing projects for DHS, NIJ, and NSF. He has championed new initiatives including leading R&D centers, collaborative institutes with US universities and projects based in Europe. He is the lead or contributing author to 28 publications and 98 professional presentations and numerous technical reports.
