Overview
Emily Hutton is a research assistant at RAND Europe, working in the area of home affairs and social policy. Her main research interests are situated in disaster risk reduction and climate change alongside risk and migration and urban governance, with a particular focus on the mobilisation of the non-human in these areas. She has an M.A. in risk and a B.A. in geography from Durham University. At RAND Europe, she is currently working on projects relating to asylum and education policies.
