Overview

Theo Jacobs (he/him) is a data scientist in the RAND Corporation's Research Programming Group. His research spans a wide variety of topics, from visualizing the effects of gun laws on mortality rates to leveraging AI to help automate literature reviews.

With a B.A. in History and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, he aims to bridge both the qualitative and the quantitative in his work. A particular focus of his work is on the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into research workflows, believing in the transformative potential of these models to enhance and expedite both qualitative and quantitative research.
