Phoebe Levine is a research assistant at the RAND Pittsburgh Office with a strong academic background in Mathematics/Economics from UCLA. Her research interests include antitrust and industrial organization, labor markets (especially in the context of automation), domestic and international economic policy in the wake of emerging technologies, and the economics of child care.

Prior to joining RAND, Levine gained valuable experience managing projects and conducting market research in the private sector. She also worked at the UCLA Office of Research Policy and Compliance as an analyst.

At RAND, Levine's project work lies at the intersection of national security and economics, encompassing topics such as digital currencies, space operations, supply chain resilience and international trade.
