Elaine Li is a research assistant at RAND. Her research interests include mental and behavioral health, health policy, serious mental illness, misinformation, community-based research, and program evaluation, among others. She has training in qualitative and quantitative methods, including survey design and implementation, semi-structured interviewing, qualitative analysis in Dedoose, and quantitative analyses in R, Stata, and Python.
Prior to RAND, Li worked as a research assistant in the Emotion and Anxiety Research Laboratory, focusing on anxiety disorders, and the Sociology Laboratory, studying mental illness stigma.
Li graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in psychology and medicine, health, and society, and a minor in data science.
