Paul Rainey

Paul Rainey

Associate Dean, Career Services, RAND School of Public Policy

Paul Rainey is associate dean of career services at the RAND School of Public Policy. In this role, he oversees student career advising and programming and employer relations with external parters interested in recruiting RAND students and alumni. Prior to coming to RAND, he was the assistant managing director of graduate career advising at Texas A&M University and has held career service appointments at institutions in Louisiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Prior to working in career services, he worked for a federal labor relations agency.

Rainey holds a Ph.D. in administration and leadership studies in the public and nonprofit sector and an M.A. in industrial and labor relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an M.S.Ed. in counseling education from Youngstown State University, and B.S. in psychology from Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, Lock Haven.
