Feifei Ye (she/her) is a senior behavioral and social scientist at RAND. She is a quantitative methodologist and psychometrician with extensive experience in statistical modeling, survey instrument development, and psychometric analysis. She is experienced in analysis of disparity and has studied racial disparity in the predictors and sequelae of substance use among adolescent girls, racial/ethnic disparity in patient experiences of primary health care, and gender disparity in STEM careers. She is currently co-directing the project of Consumer Assessment of Health Care Providers and Systems (CAHPS) for Accountable Care Organizations and groups of Merit-based Incentive Payment System. She co-led the project of developing patient-reported outcome performance measures of oncologist groups that were endorsed by NQF. She has conducted psychometric analysis for the Emergency Department CAHPS Survey, the CAHPS for Hospice Care survey, and various surveys in educational and psychological fields, such as student engagement in school and math/science. She obtained her Master's degree in applied statistics and Ph.D. in quantitative research, evaluation, and measurement in education at the Ohio State University.
