RAND is pleased to have another opportunity to participate in The Pittsburgh Gives Day of Giving. By choosing to support RAND through www.pittsburghgives.org between 6:00 a.m. and midnight on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, your gift goes further thanks to The Pittsburgh Foundation matching a portion of all gifts from $25 to $1,000.

As a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization, RAND operates independent of political and commercial pressures. We believe that people make better decisions when armed with facts. Your gift demonstrates your confidence that research and analysis help create positive change, here in Southwestern Pennsylvania and around the world.

Examples of recent RAND work having a direct impact in Pittsburgh include:

Whether here in Pittsburgh, in our nation's capital, or around the globe, RAND makes a difference by helping decisionmakers as well as the public solve the increasingly complex policy problems of our world. But we can't do it without the active support of our community. Please consider maximizing your gift to RAND on May 6.
