This report examines how cyber insurance can strengthen cyber resilience in an increasingly complex digital environment. It finds that cyber insurance provides value beyond financial compensation by helping firms identify vulnerabilities, improve cyber risk management, strengthen prevention measures and recover more effectively from cyber incidents. While the cyber insurance market has grown rapidly, wider adoption and greater use of insurer-provided resilience services could help address persistent cyber protection gaps.
