Kristina Novakovic is an associate researcher at RAND Australia. Her research areas span the intersection of ethics, emerging technologies, and international and national security. She is currently focused on military applications and governance of AI, dual use space ethics and governance, and the future of extended nuclear deterrence. Her background as an ethicist provides her with specialised skills in qualitative and normative research methods to identify ethical issues and establish ethical guidelines and practices, particularly in the context of war and political violence, professional ethics, public institutional integrity, and emerging technologies.
