Katherine Pfrommer is a quantitative analyst at the RAND Corporation. During her tenure as an analyst, she has had the opportunity to work across a diverse set of policy areas and projects including the resilience of U.S. forces in Europe, integrated air and missile defense performance, military logistics, infrastructure funding policy, cybersecurity, information technology governance, stabilization and civilian security in Yemen, development of the institutional capacity in the Lebanese Army, cost analysis of major acquisition programs, and strategic wargaming. Through her work she has developed expertise in the areas of data analysis, geospatial information systems, and missile defense modeling. Pfrommer received an M.Sc. in Public Policy and Management from The Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College.
