About the Event

With the ongoing development of 5G technologies, it is critical to understand the means by which these technologies will be implemented as well as the public's perception of this implementation. The objective of this workshop is to provide DHS with a greater insight of 5G and how public perceptions affects the implementation of 5G. In order to do that, this workshop will provide a greater understanding of what 5G technology is, considerations and impacts for the implementation of 5G (organizational challenges, acquisition, privacy, data security, missions), and the public's perception and misperception of 5G. The workshop will use a mixture of keynote speakers and panels as well as small group discussions that will allow participants to explore the subjects presented in more detail.
