Comments on the future development and refinement of HRQOL measures for adults with epilepsy. The author concludes that, instead of developing new measures, efforts should focus on evaluating, fine-tuning, and applying existing measures. Coordinated, collaborative efforts are needed for an efficient advancement in the measurement of HRQOL in epilepsy.
