As part of the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment, the second (wave 2) survey of landlords was conducted in St. Joseph County, Indiana (Site II of the experiment), from April through August 1976. Attitude data were collected in a special module of the survey instrument entailing different techniques of administration and a separate data processing schedule. This codebook reproduces each question in the attitude module, specifies the coding of open-ended responses, documents a set of variables derived from the attitude module data, and tabulates the unweighted attitude responses recorded in the final master file, which contains 1,444 records.
