As part of the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment (HASE), the third (wave 3) household survey (officially called the survey of tenants and homeowners) was conducted in Brown County, Wisconsin (Site I), from January through July of 1976. The codebook reproduces each question in the survey instrument and specifies every permissible response. Each question is accompanied by a tabulation of responses recorded in the preliminary master file, which contains 3,551 records. Eleven accounting variables are also included.
