As part of the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment (HASE), the final (wave 4) survey of landlords was conducted in Brown County, Wisconsin (Site I), from March through August 1977. The codebook reproduces each question in the survey instrument and specifies every permissible response. Each question is accompanied by a tabulation of responses recorded in the preliminary master file, which contains 1,311 records. Thirteen accounting variables are also included.
