As part of the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment (HASE), the final (wave 4) household survey was conducted in Brown County, Wisconsin (Site I) from April through August 1977. Attitude data were collected in a special module of the survey instrument, entailing different techniques of administration and a separate data processing schedule. This codebook reproduces each question in the attitude module, specifies the coding of open-ended responses, and tabulates the unweighted attitude module responses recorded in the preliminary master file, which contains 3,627 records.
