As part of the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment (HASE), the third (wave 3) household survey was conducted in St. Joseph County, Indiana (Site II of the experiment), from January though July 1977. Attitude data were collected in a special module of the survey instrument, entailing different techniques of administration and a separate data processing schedule. This codebook reproduces each question in the attitude module, specifies the coding of open-ended responses, and tabulates the unweighted attitude module responses recorded in the preliminary master file, which contains 3,698 records.
