As part of the Housing Assistance Supply Experiment (HASE), the final (wave 4) household survey was conducted in St. Joseph County, Indiana (Site II of the experiment), from February through August 1978. Attitude data were collected in a special module of the survey instrument, entailing different techniques of administration and a separate data-processing schedule. This codebook reproduces each question in the attitude module, specifies the coding of open-ended responses, and tabulates the unweighted attitude module responses recorded in the preliminary master file, which contains 3,691 records.
